Wangdue Phodrang Festival

The Wangdue Phodrang festival is held in the beautiful valley of Wangdue Phodrang, usually taking place in the fall for three days. This festival is famous for the Raksha Mangcham, or the Dance of the Ox. It is full of color, symbolism, and song, with plenty of laughter, jokes, and food sharing among relatives and friends. Visitors can also wear traditional Bhutanese attire and participate in the festivities.

During this tour, you will also explore the valley of Thimphu, the only capital in the world without traffic lights. Additionally, you will visit the picturesque Punakha Valley and take a hike to the famous Tiger's Nest in Paro Valley.
